Last game of the season!!! Come out to JJ Isaacson Baseball Complex at Seymour Smith Park Saturday at 7:00 as we play the North Division Champion Clarinda A's. It will be sponsored by www.onestopomaha.com with the return of Dr. Jerkell, the face painting Clown and the Bouncy House for kids- Just Good Meat hot dogs, brats and hamburgers off the grille and Orange Leaf Yogurt. Also, it will be a special Night for our HOF Players and our players and friends who have gone to the Ball Park in heaven. Come out and enjoy the fun for our last Big Event of the Summer. Thanks for everyone support this summer!!!!

After 2 good victories in a row the Spirit looks to continue with a game Saturday in St Joe then back home on Sunday with a 7:00 contest with St Joe (sponsored by the Ultimate Baseball Academy with $1.00 hot dogs provided by Just Good Meat- 84th & J St!!!.COME OUT AND WATCH SOME OF THE BEST COLLEGIATE SUMMER BASEBALL IN THE MIDWESTNext week after a game in Clarinda on Wednesday we return home, so come and join us for our biggest test of the summer with 10 games in 6 days but luckily all at home. Starting on July 11th with a doubleheader against the Ozarks Generals starting at 6:00 followed by an afternoon game on July 12th with them at 1:00. The Highlighted Event will be a Doubleheader with the Joplin Outlaws starting at 6:00 on Saturday the 13th Sponsored By ITEX- The Bartering Company who will be providing special giveaways, prizes and promotions (along with a Bouncy House for the kids) and the Corporate Cycle Challenge on August 19th- sign your company up now to participate). This will be followed by another doubleheader on Sunday the 14th with Joplin at 4:30- Wear any MLB apparel and get a discount on your entry fee. Winding out the Home Stand will be a Doubleheader with the Nevada Griffons on Monday the 15th starting at 6:00 and another 1:00 game on Tuesday the 16th.All our games are played at the Historic JJ Isaacson Ball Complex in Seymour Smith Park located at 68th and Harrison. Also, remember every game is Old Timers/Senior Citizen Day with $2.00 admission for anyone over 65.

After playing for 3 weeks out of town lets come out and support our guys with a good showing this Thursday (June 27th) when we open our 8 game home stand starting with a DH against Chillicothe at 6:00- Host Family/Sponsor Appreciation Night, then a single game on Friday at 7:00 with Division Leader Clarinda- wear Yankee apperal and get in for $2.00, Sunday a DH with Sedalia starting at 6:00 - wear Cubs apperal for $2.00 admission and a single on Monday with Sedalia at 7:00 for Old Timers/Senior Citizen Night (anyone over 60 gets $2.00 admission) and finishing off on Tuesday with a 7:00 game against St Joe- wear any MLB Apperal and get in fir $2.00. We will be serving Just Good Meat hot dogs, brats and hamburgers and don't forget to finish it off with Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt!!! THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S SUPPORT!!!!!!

Well things went a little better on the second trip won 2 out of 5 with 1 rainoout- we were in all the games even losing one in extra innings. We will be going to St Joe and Chillicothe this weekend continuing our travel schedule because of th CWS. Cannot wait to play a few home games. All the players are in town now with the arrival of the Califonia guys and a few that were nursing injuries. The Coaches are getting a better handle on the team and are looking to get some more wins!!!
